is very flexible and adapts to a variety of uses. We offer this type of

Sites that use WordPress fall into two main categories:
Blogs - sites where regular posts are made by visitors or contributors.
Static Pages
- sites where wordpress is used for content management, and visitors do
not post.Your site is set up this way, although it can easily be
changed to a blog with a couple of clicks.

How to log in:
>Go to your web site, whatever.com
>Look for the link that says "log in" and click it
>Use the user name and password you were given to sign in - no capitol letters or puctuation
>You will now be in the Admin area of wordpress, also called the "Dashboard".
How to add a new page:
>In the Dashboard, look near the top for a link named "Write" and click on it
>A submenu will open beneath "write" that has the options "post" "Page" and "link". Select "Page"
>You will now have a form called "Write Page" open. Give it a title.
>Now
type some writing into it. You can use the menu above the text box to
format writing. The far right icon is called "Kitchen Sink" and adds
colors and text styles to the menu. You'll notice links to add pictures
and media from your computer. Try adding an image.
>When you're
ready to see what your page looks like, click the "save" button to the
right of the text box. This will save your page. It is still not
published, but it is saved.
>Now you can click "Preview This Page" to see what it looks like.
>If
it's ready to publish, you can click "Publish" and it will "go live" on
your site. It should now appear as a link on your main page.
How to modify an existing page:
>In the Dashboard, look near the top for a link named "Manage" and click on it
>A submenu will open beneath "Manage" that has includes the options "post" "Page" and "link". Select "Page"
>Click on the title of the page you'd like to modifiy.
>When you have made whatever changes you want to make, click "save"
How to add a link:
>In the Dashboard, go to Write, subcategory "link" and simply fill in the blanks
>be sure to choose a category so it will show up on your page
> be sure to click the "save" link when you're done.
How to change which page is your main page, your site title, and other stuff:
>In the dashboard, look over to the top right for a link named "settings" and click it.
>To
set a different page as Home page, click the "Reading" link, and change
the "static page" to whatever page you wish to use.
>To retitle your site, click the "General" tab and fill in the blanks
More advanced users:

themes and designs, ways to use "code" and ecommerce on your site, how

Checking, sending, setting up Email:
First go to your email login site: www.webmail.YOURDOMAINNAME.com/net/etc
login name: YOURUSERNAME@YOURDOMAINNAME.com/net/etc
password: your password
This will open your webmail.
You have a choice of Round Cube & Horde - two web-based email programs.
Horde is simpler, Roundcube has more complex features. If in doubt, use Horde.
When Horde opens, click the "options" tab to customize appearance and features for your use.
